Daryle Smith grew up in the projects of New York. After graduating High School, he drifted and found himself in the United States Marine Corps. It was then that he realized he was not a statistic but a value to mankind. While serving two years in the United States Marine Corps, Daryle received the National Defense Medal, Certificate of Commendation, and Meritorious Mast for becoming Marine of the Month. After an injury, Daryle was Honorably Discharged from the Marines in April of 1994.
Upon leaving the United States Marine Corps, Daryle was given an opportunity to work for the Metro Atlanta Boys & Girls Club. He worked for 20 years at several sites impacting thousands of youth in the Fulton, Cobb County, and Coweta County areas.
In 2011 Daryle decided to become a motivational speaker. He has spoken at several of the Elementary, Middle, and High Schools throughout Coweta County. He leaves the kids with the same message; “Become a success and not a statistic.” His charismatic, energetic, and unconventional speaking style by using Comic Book Heroes delivers a strong message while keeping kids and adults on edge.
In 2012, Daryle accepted his call to the ministry and became a licensed minister in 2014. Daryle’s favorite scripture is Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” In 2016, He accepted the call and became an Area Representative for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Coweta County. Where he served 2 middle schools and 1 high school. In June of 2017, Daryle accepted God’s call to go to South Metro FCA, where he now serves 11 high schools & 2 middle schools in Clayton & Spalding Counties.
Daryle is quoted saying, “When it is all over, and my eyes close, I want to know I changed and inspired lives as well as did what God purposed me on this Earth to do.”
